Today, Easymeeting AS is represented by its affiliate Avikom Distribution AS in Norway. Also, the company has partners in many European countries - including the Nordic countries, the Benelux region, the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland and others. At present, Scandinavia is the most important market for Easymeeting. Yet, Mr. Andriopoulos expects much from the UK and the US market in the coming years, as well as from the Benelux countries and Spain.

We really want to make meeting easy. Everything is about making things easy. Of course, we strongly benefit from the internationalization of the economy. Even smaller businesses are international today, and there is a growing demand for technological communication solutions that save you from flying across the globe or driving long distances. We draw on profound experience in audio and visual technology, and we support and design VC solutions. As customer orientation is a crucial success factor in our business, we tend to hire people coming from the service industry. Our people listen closely to our customers, and we always try to develop the best possible solution for them.”

Avikom came to life in 1999. Today, the group unites three subsidiaries, Avikom Distribution AS, Avikom Fusion Norway AS and Easymeeting AS. While Avikom Distribution imports and distributes a wide product range within Lync/IP telephony, videoconferencing and displays, Avikom Fusion specializes in the delivery of innovative sound and picture systems.

Easymeeting was established in 2010. Shortly after its foundation, the company won a major project with around 40 locations involved. In the same year, Easymeeting Inc. in the USA was born. Today, the US branch of the business has two offices: in Mystic, Connecticut, and Santa Monica, California. Easymeeting has a staff of 13, of whom 5 are active in the USA.

Mr. Andriopoulos is optimistic about the future. “This year, the market will grow again, particularly in the SME segment and mostly on the software side of the business. Cloud computing is a big issue, and 2014 will be about services. People will need new and more products and we will continue to launch new devices and solutions that set standards. We still have resources in the UK, the USA and Scandinavia, and I am positive that we will be able to realize further growth.”
